Benjamin Sisko - His abilities as a captain are astounding, and is one of those great father figures
Major Kira - It's that whole bajoran female fistyness in her. Love it!
Odo - I liked seeing how Kira and Odo developed. but what is his deal with Tarkalian animals!? Does he have some kind of Tarkalian Fetish or something?!
Chief Miles O'Brien - Mile is a great engineer. To keep the station, 3 runabouts and a warship on the go all the time must mean hes got some skill. I liked the fact that he was a family man. Developed his character well
Julian Bashir - He was a good doctor, and got even better when we found out about his genetic engineering. Alexander Siddig is a great actor.
Quark - Quark is an excellent addition to DS9, he really lightened the mood and helped create that space station feel
Nog - It was great to actually see a starfleet cadet in the show. He was quite funny, lightened up the show alot
Rom - Now this guy is hillarious! Pretty much everything he does makes me laugh
Leeta - Leeta added to the humor than nog had. Leeta and Nog make a good combination.
Jadazia Dax - I just love her outlook on life and her smarts. Plus trills are excellent
Ezri Dax - It's the whole punk chick thing shes got going for her. It's just great! 8)
Worf - Yet again not exactly a favorite but the show would have been alot worse if he wasn't in it. It was nice to see his character develope from TNG. Also the whole Jadzia/Ezri scenario wouldn't have been as good without him.
Jake Sisko - I wouldn't exactly say he was one of my favorite characters but he gave Captain Sisko the father figure feel to him and helped his character along. Ben Sisko wouldn't be as good without Jake
Garak - I love Garaks sarcasm. He's got my sense of humor Wink

Weyoune - He was an excellent character. He was funny and helped us to understand the Vorta better. The actor that played him is excellent. Im glad hes in alot of Star Trek
Martok - Martok really helped Worf character develope and gave us that excellent insight into Klingons which TNg only scraped the top of
Admiral Ross - As far as admirals go. He made an excellent one. He knew where he stood in combat situations but was also a worth diplomat.
Other - Kassidy Yates. She is GREAT! I love her so much! She was perfect for Sisko and it was interesting to actually see a frieghter captain in Star Trek

Chief Miles O'Brien Miles Is my favorite Character of ALL time in DS9. I love how he relates to TNG just because he was on the show. His character is awesome.
Julian Bashir Bashir Is great, I don't think I would like him as much if it wasn't for Miles.

Nog Nog is my second favorite DS9 character, I really liked to watch him grow from season one into a Starfleet Lieutenate.

Julian was a great addition to DS9 and his acting was superb. I loved his sarcastic comments, they reminded me of me.

Just face it DS9 wouldnt have been DS9 without Quark,...he was always there to help the crew out....in his own way,...and he always befriended everyone...and he was hilarious

He was one of my favorite charactors from TNG and when I watched a speacial premier episode of DS9 and Worf walked out I nearly cried! Worf was one of the best chars on the show

Benjamin Sisko-Greatest Captain EVER. Not only was he a strong fighter, but he was the Emissary to the Bajorans. Sisko represented a Religious icon. What other Captain can say that? Yeah thats what I thought. Razz

Major Kira-Very strong charecter. She went through so many ups and down. Kire developed as a charecter amazingly. She started off as an angry Bajoran and didn't trust anyone. Then she became a Colonel and good friends with the Federation.
Odo-Awesome charecter. Changelings are just plain cool. 8) Odo was definitly the best Security officer of ALL the series. He had the ability to turn into anything, which made his sting operations always succesful. His banter was Quark was great.
Chief Miles O'Brien-What Engineer could do what he did? Not only did he keep an ENTIRE station together, it wasn't even a Federation one. He had to learn various Cardassian designs. Good Engineer and I liked his relationship with Bashir and his family life.
Julian Bashir-Great actor. He was witty and smart. His genetic backround made him stand out more than the other Doctors. I also liked his love for the 007 programs in the Holodeck. I wish he had gotten together with Jadzia. Crying or Very sad

Quark-Definitly the funniest charecter in the show. The other shows had lame barkeeps. Neelix was annoying and Guinan was boring. Quark came from a cool species and definitly made DS9 what it was.
Nog-First Ferengi in Starfleet. He was cool and definitly developed well. He started off as a theif to an accomplished officer.
Rom-This charecter was always funny. He also wasn't a throw away charecter and was actually useful.
Leeta- She was HOTT. Rom is one lucky man...
Jadazia Dax-Bad ass charecter, but maintained very sexy look. Jadzia was cool because of her backround with the Klingons.
Ezri Dax- Not enough development with her IMO. She wasn't bad though. Different from Jadzia though. Decent enough charecter.
Worf-Definitly kick a**. He beat Jem'Hadar left and right. Worf is definitly one of the two Klingons that I like.
Jake Sisko-Cool charecter. One of the few "Child" actors on a ST series that I like.
Garak-The elusive Garak was amazing. Brilliant and decietful. His relationship with the Doctor was always humerous.
Weyoun-Coolest Vorta. One of my favorite charecters. He had a cool death and was smug. Definitly a great actor who played him.
Martok-He is cool. The only other Klingon I can tolerate.
Admiral Ross-The only Admiral that I liked. Other than Kirk of course. Razz

I know that I left a lot of them out, but I didn't want the post to be too long. I left the last option as 'other' so that you could add in any characters that I left out like the Female Changeling or Kassidy Yates.
